Dana Smith is the Founder and Owner of PulsePoint Education and a nurse educator with a background in emergency nursing, academic teaching, and professional development. Her work focuses on building practical, human-centered tools for the people learning, teaching, and growing in nursing.

Through PulsePoint Education, Dana develops resources that support emotional intelligence, clinical judgment, professional identity, educator creativity, and readiness for real-world nursing practice. Her work brings together classroom experience, nervous system awareness, and modern teaching workflows to help nurses and educators build capacity without losing the human side of the work.

She is a Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) and Certified Academic Clinical Nurse Educator (CNEcl), with experience teaching adult health, complex care, pharmacology, leadership, and transition-to-practice content.
